The Mission of Our School
The Mission of the York Region District School Board is:  "We unite in our purpose to inspire and prepare learners for life in our changing world community."

 

History
Glad Park P.S. is named after the street on which it is located in the town of Stouffville, "Country near the City."

Our school motto is "Learning for Life."

Our school mascot is The Grizzly.

 

Facilities
Glad Park P.S. was officially opened in 1998. An eight room addition was added in 2002 to accommodate our newly added French Immersion Program.  At present, we can accommodate up to 650 students JK-8 in our school.

We have a before and after school program.

 

Transportation
The York Region District School Board has a transportation policy that applies to all of its schools.

Number of students bused: approximately 400 at this time.
